Creating a Local Agent
To manage your Local Agents navigate to
Settings > Agents:
To create a new Local Agent click on
+ Create agent button to start.
Step1: Name your agent; Step2: Enter description for the agent; Step3: Wait for the activation.

Using a Local Agent
Here we assume that there is at least one activated Local Agent accessible to your account. If there are no active Local Agents available to you, you will not able to deploy a component into a Local Agent as described in this article. This article describes two cases of component deployment:
- The component with no credentials is deployed.
- A component which requires security credentials.
Deploy component without credentials
If the component requires no credentials to be loaded then here is how to select an enabled agent to deploy the component:

Deploy component with credentials
In the case when the component requires security credentials to function, the credential creation step must be completed first:

The newly created credential will be associated with the given Local Agent only. This way, when the specific credential is selected during the integration flow design the component will be deployed to the selected agent:

After this step, there are no differences in integration flow design.
